Gregory Brellochs: Gamete (2009)

Mitä meistä tuli? Siitä on aikaa, kun istuin mr. Van Ordenin luonnontiedeluokan takarivissä. Näin tummahiuksisen pojan piirtävän vihkoonsa. 

What became of us? It's been awhile since I sat in the back row of Mr. Van Orden's science class. I saw a dark-haired boy drawing in his notebook.

Piirustukset ovat nykyään vähän isompia. Gregory Brellochsin töissä on jotain hämmentävällä tavalla maagista. Yksityiskohdat ovat rumuudessaan kauniita.

He became an artist. Of course. 

The drawings are a bit larger these days. There's something disconcerting and magical in  Gregory Brellochs' work. The details are beautiful, in all their ugliness.
