Yet another finished project that I started, oh, about 18 months ago. The sweet colors reveal that I originally planned this blanket to be ready for spring. Little did I know.
I don't mind crocheting the solid granny squares, it's the never-ending putting together that is a drag. I will not make a blanket from squares for a long time, I promise.
The pastel colored yarns are Debbie Bliss Cashmerino, oh so soft. The frugal mama in me used unidentified leftover off-white yarn for the borders. I had appearantly been skimpy when buying the yarn, hence the blanket is smaller, almost square shaped. But it's warm and soft. And DONE! Yay.
